The highly anticipated debut of K-Pop’s newest sensation, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, has been touched by an unfortunate turn of events, as member Arno sustained an injury just days before their official launch. Despite the setback, the eight-member boy group pressed forward with their debut showcase, showcasing their unwavering determination.

On the afternoon of January 12th, the showcase for ALPHA DRIVE ONE‘s first mini-album, ‘EUPHORIA,’ took place at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. While the group — consisting of Lio, Junseo, Arno, Geonwoo, Sangwon, Xinlong, Anshin, and Sanghyun — presented their debut, all eyes were on Arno, who appeared on crutches due to a recent injury.

Arno candidly addressed the situation, expressing his deep regret. “I’m so happy that we can finally share the songs we’ve practiced thousands of times, leaving the practice room behind,” he stated. “I also practiced incredibly hard, and it’s disappointing that I can’t show my performance. I feel truly sorry to both my members and our fans. I promise to recover quickly so that all eight of us can dance together on stage.”

The incident occurred on January 7th. After completing a scheduled activity for their debut preparations, Arno unfortunately slipped and fell on a staircase while moving. Following a detailed examination at the hospital, he was diagnosed with a fracture and advised by medical professionals to refrain from choreography for the time being. This explains his poignant appearance at the showcase, where he participated only in the photo session and could not join his fellow members on stage.

Speaking on the matter, member Lio highlighted the impact of Arno‘s absence. “Arno’s void is incredibly significant. It’s our first debut, and it’s truly regrettable that a precious member cannot be with us on stage,” he shared. “We are all disappointed, but we will do our best to support him so that he can join us quickly, allowing us to properly showcase ALPHA DRIVE ONE as a complete team.”

ALPHA DRIVE ONE‘s first mini-album, ‘EUPHORIA,’ officially dropped on January 12th at 6 PM KST across various online music platforms. The six-track album features:
