Shim Eun-kyung‘s agency, Fanfare, announced on January 30th that she has won the Best Actress award at the 99th Kinema Junpo Best Ten Awards for 2025. Kinema Junpo, founded in 1919, stands as Japan’s most venerable film magazine, and its annual ‘Best 10’ selections along with its awards are revered as some of the most prestigious honors in Japanese cinema, alongside the Japan Academy Awards, Blue Ribbon Awards, and Mainichi Film Awards.
Expressing her heartfelt gratitude, Shim Eun-kyung shared, “I am truly thankful for such a wonderful award. It was a miracle just to meet this project, and I am overjoyed to receive this honor.
