The air in Busan still hums with the echoes of transcendent harmony! Crossover group LA POEM has once again proven their unparalleled artistry, wrapping up their ‘LA POEM SYMPHONY: ALIVE in Busan’ concert with a truly breathtaking La Poem Busan Triumph.

The Symphony’s Enduring Legacy
Held on February 7th and 8th at the Busan Concert Hall, this exclusive event followed closely on the heels of their highly successful Seoul performances. ‘LA POEM SYMPHONY,’ first conceived in 2022, has become a signature series for LA POEM, known for delivering profound emotion and lingering impressions through their unique fusion of classical and popular music. Last November, the group graced the grand stage of Seoul’s Sejong Center for the Performing Arts for a second consecutive year, drawing immense attention and setting the stage for this much-anticipated encore in Busan.
The Busan Concert Hall itself added an extra layer of significance to the performances. As the city’s first venue dedicated exclusively to classical music, it has hosted global classical maestros like soprano Sumi Jo, conductor Myung-whun Chung, and pianist Seong-jin Cho. For LA POEM to stand on such a revered stage only amplified the gravitas of their music.
An Unforgettable Journey Through Sound
A Grand Overture
The concert began with a flourish, as LA POEM unveiled a mesmerizing medley of Italian canzones, transporting the audience with their rich vocal tapestry. The setlist was a journey through melodic masterpieces:
- 🎶 Granada
- 🎶 Torna a Surriento
- 🎶 Non Ti Scordar Di Me
- 🎶 Marechiare
- 🎶 O Sole Mio
Solo Moments That Soared
The night continued with captivating solo stages, each member shining brightly in their individual artistry. Jung Min-sung delivered a passionate rendition of ‘Amor, vida de mi vida,’ while Choi Seong-hoon moved hearts with ‘Ave Maria.’ Yoo Chae-hoon‘s ‘Il Mondo’ showcased his explosive vocal power and delicate expressiveness, completely commanding the stage and leaving the audience in awe.

The Heart of ‘ALIVE’
A true highlight of the evening was the performance of tracks from their 3rd mini-album, ‘ALIVE,’ released just last month. LA POEM presented every song, including the title track ‘Meant to Be,’ ‘Alive,’ ‘Este amor,’ ‘Long Promise,’ and ‘Salira,’ with the majestic accompaniment of a live orchestra. The hall resonated with the powerful cheers of fans, who enthusiastically sang along.
A Setlist of Pure Emotion
Beyond the album tracks, the rich setlist was flawlessly executed, including beloved songs like ‘Chou,’ ‘Shining,’ ‘Fog,’ ‘Red Dragonfly,’ ‘Dazzling Night,’ and ‘You Raise Me Up.’ Their solid voices and harmonious blend created a deep, profound resonance that filled the concert hall. Standing ovations erupted, and the emotional atmosphere was palpable, with many audience members moved to tears, creating a truly unforgettable memory.
A New Chapter Unfolds
Through years of accumulated stage experience, LA POEM showcased an overwhelming presence even in a classical-exclusive venue, solidifying an evolved ‘LA POEM SYMPHONY.’ The seamless integration with the live orchestra allowed LA POEM to fully express their unique musical color, sending thrilling shivers down the spines of the audience.
Following the enthusiastic reception of ‘LA POEM SYMPHONY: ALIVE in Busan,’ LA POEM shared their heartfelt gratitude through their agency, Drama House Studio: “We were deeply touched by the passionate response to our first solo concert in Busan in three years. It has given us immense motivation to go further and last longer. We sincerely thank and love all the fans who joined us. Our story will continue, so please look forward to what’s next.”
The way LA POEM weaves emotion into every note transcends language, creating an experience that truly touches the soul. This triumphant Busan concert is a beautiful testament to their evolving artistry and the powerful connection they share with their devoted fans.
