K-Pop Idol’s Graduation Album Blunder Rocks Fans! 🎓💔

In the high-stakes world of K-Pop, every milestone is scrutinized, celebrated, and occasionally, marred by unfortunate oversight. This week, girl group **CLASSy** member **Won Jimin** found herself at the center of a social media storm after her name and photo were conspicuously absent from her own high school graduation album, prompting an immediate outcry from fans and raising questions about institutional accountability.

The incident, which quickly went viral across online communities, revealed that **Won Jimin**, who graduated from the prestigious **Hanlim Arts High School** on **January 8th**, was entirely missing from the official commemorative album. This is not just a personal slight, but a significant lapse for an institution that educates many future stars.

Reacting to the surprising omission, **Jimin** personally took to her social media accounts to share her graduation photos with fans, stating, “These are my graduation photos.” She expressed her disappointment, adding, “It’s just upsetting. There’s nothing in the album with my name or photo.” Despite the clear disappointment, the idol showed resilience, attempting to console herself by saying, “But it’s over now, so I should stop feeling sad. I’m glad I can show you this way.”

Adding to the controversy, **Jimin**’s absence extended beyond the physical album. Although she attended the graduation ceremony at the school in Seoul’s Songpa District on **January 8th**, her image and name were notably missing from the official social media posts commemorating the graduating class.

**Hanlim Arts High School** eventually responded to the growing backlash. On **January 10th**, the school’s official social media account belatedly uploaded photos of **Won Jimin**, stating, “We are re-posting **CLASSy’s Won Jimin**’s 14th practical music department graduation album photos. We congratulate **Jimin** as she steps onto a bigger stage, using her three years at Hanlim as a stepping stone, and we support **CLASSy** as they make a fresh start with their new agency.”

However, this belated attempt at rectification has done little to quell the outrage among fans, who continue to demand more substantial action. The online community’s reactions highlight the depth of the disappointment:

  • Fans questioned the school’s professionalism, asking, “If it was omitted, shouldn’t they re-make it?” 💔
  • Many expressed indignation, stating, “They charge a hefty sum, and a once-in-a-lifetime high school graduation shouldn’t be handled this way.” 😤
  • Critics pointed out the poor handling of such a significant event for every student. 🏫

The incident serves as a potent reminder of the impact of such oversights, especially when it involves public figures and their highly engaged fanbases.

The meticulousness expected in the presentation of an idol’s public life extends even to a school graduation album, proving that no detail is too small to escape fan scrutiny. This incident underscores the ongoing challenge institutions face in maintaining public trust and managing the optics surrounding K-Pop celebrities.
