Their remarkable achievements over the past year have firmly cemented their status as a global powerhouse, leaving fans and critics alike buzzing with excitement for what 2026 holds.

The year 2025 kicked off with a vibrant energy that rippled through every season. Early on, TWICE displayed their genre-defying versatility by serving as special guests for all six nights of global rock band Coldplay‘s highly anticipated shows in Goyang, Korea, in April. Speaking of chart-topping success, two tracks, “TAKEDOWN (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG)” from the Netflix OST album and “Strategy,” a B-side from TWICE‘s 14th mini-album, dominated the global music scene. These songs impressively charted on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for 19 and 17 consecutive weeks, respectively, marking new personal bests for the group. In a historic feat for K-Pop girl groups, “Strategy” also earned them a coveted Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
The summer of 2025 brought even more heat with the release of TWICE‘s fourth full-length album, “THIS IS FOR,” in July, their first in three years and eight months. As the year transitioned into autumn and winter, TWICE‘s bountiful harvest of achievements continued. September saw the release of Chaeyoung‘s distinctive solo full-length album, “LIL FANTASY vol.1,” where she contributed to all ten tracks. This solo debut garnered critical acclaim, landing on prestigious year-end lists such as Rolling Stone‘s “Best Albums,” Billboard‘s “25 Best K-Pop Albums of 2025: Staff Picks,” and Teen Vogue‘s “15 Best Non-English Albums of 2025.” October brought the special 10th anniversary album, “TEN: The Story Goes On,” featuring the title track “ME+YOU,” which was also recognized on Billboard‘s “25 Best K-Pop Albums of 2025: Staff Picks” and Teen Vogue‘s “15 Best K-Pop Music Videos of 2025.” According to Oricon’s Annual Album Ranking 2025, TWICE‘s “ENEMY,” “#TWICE5,” “STRATEGY,” and MISAMO‘s “HAUTE COUTURE” all secured spots on the chart.
