While younger members Haerin and Hyein, followed by Hanni, have announced their return to ADOR, Minji is still reportedly in discussions, and Daniel is headed back to court.

Up until the summer of 2024, a comeback seemed plausible. However, the intractable conflict between former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin and HYBE escalated into a long-term legal battle, inevitably halting NewJeans’ activities. The rift with HYBE has progressively darkened the group’s prospects.
