BTS Reignites Global Charts Ahead of Grand Comeback: The Legacy Continues! 👑🔥

As the world of luxury and culture anticipates the next major statement, we at Hello Korea are witnessing an undeniable force once again asserting its global dominance. Boy group BTS, the titans of modern music, have once again made an emphatic declaration on the U.S. Billboard charts, proving their unparalleled influence even before their highly anticipated full-group return. This isn’t merely a chart-topping moment; it’s a profound testament to their enduring power and the meticulously cultivated connection with their global fanbase.

According to the latest Billboard charts dated January 10, 2026, the track “Run BTS” from their 2022 anthology album, ‘Proof’, has claimed the coveted No. 1 spot on the ‘World Digital Song Sales’ chart. This remarkable achievement follows its impressive run at the top of iTunes ‘Top Song’ charts in 61 countries/regions, including Brazil, Finland, Mexico, and Greece, by 6 AM on January 2nd. It’s a clear signal that the anticipation for their upcoming fifth full-length album, set for release on March 20th, is reaching a fever pitch.

This resurgence is, unequivocally, a direct result of the ARMY’s unwavering dedication and organic streaming efforts. Fans across the globe have been revisiting and streaming past tracks, expressing their fervent excitement for the new music. This phenomenon isn’t new; we’ve seen this powerful collective action before:

  • 🎵 The track “Anpanman” from their 2018 third studio album, ‘LOVE YOURSELF 轉 ‘Tear”, previously topped the ‘World Digital Song Sales’ chart on December 20, 2025.
  • 🎤 Speaking of organic boosts, RM’s solo track “Nuts” from his second solo album, ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’, made a surprise re-entry at No. 2 on the same chart on December 27, 2025, following a casual live broadcast.

Meanwhile, the individual artistry of the members continues to shine brilliantly across various Billboard sub-charts, underscoring their collective and singular star power:

  • 🌟 Jungkook’s solo single “Seven (feat. Latto)” held positions at No. 148 on the ‘Global 200’ and No. 90 on the ‘Global (Excl. US)’ chart.
  • 🎶 Jin’s title track “Don’t Say You Love Me” from his second solo album, ‘Echo’, charted at No. 126 on ‘Global (Excl. US)’.
  • 💫 Jimin’s title track “Who” from his second solo album, ‘MUSE’, secured the No. 152 spot on ‘Global (Excl. US)’.
  • 📚 The group’s anthology album, ‘Proof’, maintained its presence at No. 9 on the ‘World Album’ chart, with Jimin’s ‘MUSE’ also charting at No. 18.

The electrifying momentum extends to global audio and streaming platform Spotify, where a significant surge in rankings has been observed following the news of BTS’s impending return. For the tracking period of December 26, 2025, to January 1, 2026, the ‘Weekly Top Song Global’ chart saw impressive climbs:

  • 📈 “Who” soared 48 spots to No. 32.
  • 📈 “Don’t Say You Love Me” rose 36 spots to No. 38.
  • 📈 “Seven (feat. Latto)” climbed 54 spots to No. 62.
  • 📈 V and Park Hyo Shin’s duet, “Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)”, jumped 80 spots to No. 102.

The ‘Weekly Top Album Global’ chart during the same period also reflected this powerful upward trend:

  • ⬆️ ‘Proof’ rose 20 spots to No. 35.
  • ⬆️ Jungkook’s debut solo album, ‘GOLDEN’, ascended 34 spots to No. 77.
  • ⬆️ ‘MUSE’ saw a significant leap of 51 spots to No. 117.
  • ⬆️ ‘Echo’ moved up 24 spots to No. 52.

The anticipation culminates on March 20th with the release of BTS’s fifth full-length album, marking their grand return as a complete unit after approximately 3 years and 9 months. In a gesture that has captivated the public, a striking new album logo sculpture has been installed at the central staircase of Seoul’s Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, drawing the gaze of citizens and fans alike. This comeback is not just a musical event; it’s a global cultural happening.

BTS continues to set the benchmark for global impact, demonstrating that true artistry and authentic connection transcend temporary trends. Their upcoming comeback is poised to be not just a musical triumph, but a cultural moment that will undoubtedly influence styles and narratives across the globe.

As Hello Korea meticulously tracks these indelible movements, we prepare to witness BTS once again redefine the landscape of global entertainment.
